Joseph Keaney, O.D.

Dr. Joseph Keaney received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University in 2005. He then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, earning his Doctor of Optometry with clinical honors in 2010.

Dr. Keaney returned to Northeast Ohio upon graduation and provided eye care at a private practice in Cleveland for four years. He moved back to Columbus in 2015 and practiced in Gahanna, New Albany, and German Village. He started with EyeCare Professionals of Powell in 2019.

Dr. Keaney is passionate about patient education. He practices full-scope optometry, emphasizing preventive care to maintain eye health and vision.

Dr. Keaney is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association. He is a board member with the Olentangy Rotary Club, volunteering throughout Delaware County. He actively mentors high school and college students interested in optometry and other medical fields. He resides in Powell with his wife, Jen, his sons, Wyatt and Connor, and his dog, Archie. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavs.
